I still think having a csv list could be
better which contains the quick description cribbed from the repository,
a default installation list (checkmark or letter for kind of
installation) and whether a package is from the repositories or aur.
This then allows the bootstrapping script to present default options (like server, desktop, laptop, ..) and the user to pick and choose what he wants on that specific machine.
